Pakki Sangat

Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji Maharaj was born in the holy city of Shri Amritsar Sahib to the 6th Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji from Mata Nanaki on Bikrami Samvat 1678, on Tuesday, according to valuation on 1st April 1621 A.D. He sacrificed himself for Hindutava and whose sacrifice, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj has stated in his ‘Bachitra Naatak’ as :

Tilak Janju Rakha Prabh Tan Ka.

Keeno Baddo Kalla Mahi Sakka.

Saddan Het Iti Jin Karri,

Sees Dia Par See Na Uchari.

The whole life sketch of such of Gurujit is very glorious. In his life history his travelling to East India is very important. During his travel to East India, Guruji stayed at this place for about 6 months & 9 days and changed this ordinary place by His warship into a holy place, where Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji was born (at Patna Sahib) and in his childhood, Baala Pritam (Guru Gobind Singh Ji) also came to this place while travelling from Patna Sahib to Punjab. In memory of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Gurudwara Pakki Sangat had been erected. This Gurdwara is under the management of Niramle Saints. Many devotees have been demanding for  the history of this place. On the directions and blessings of Srimaan Sadguru Maharaj 108 Shri Mahant Pt. Swami Gyandev Singh Ji Maharaj, Sriman Mahant Gyan Singh Ji is publishing this history. He has been very hardworking, polite and is always ready for the service of Guru Maharaj Ji. The work of writing this history has been done by Saint Darshan Singh Ji Shastri & Sant Satnam Singh Ji Shastri (Banaraswale) by the blessing of Guru Maharaj Ji. This work has been accomplished by very hardworking and is based on the research of the historical books. We are very thankful to them and pray to God that such people may continue to do such works and hope that everybody will be benefited by reading  and listening to this history.
